I like the break action guns for this role: the single or double barrel guns that hinge open. Takedown is simple and fast. More importantly, reassembly is simple and fast.

I once lived in a city where--idiotic as this seems--guns were to be trigger locked or taken apart. (This law was later overturned by the Supreme Court.) So fast assembly was a plus. With a double barrel: Place the barrels on the hinge pin. Close the action. Click the forearm into place. Done.
