My read of the Colorado laws:
1. no out-of-state permits
2. no recognition of Nevada (because Nevada does not recognize Colorado )
3. no recognition of non-resident permits (FL, UT, etc.)

So, when I was an Arizona resident, all was OK, but now that I have moved to Nevada, there is no legal way to carry concealed? It seems screwy that simply changing state of residence could remove my right to CCW.

Am I reading this right?

Not sure if you are reading the laws correctly or not since I don't know them, but this part of your post is certainly correct.

Changing states changes the laws. You should be glad you didn't move to Calif or you would be in for a rude awakening about firearms laws.

Looks like NV honors 25 states and CO 32 with plenty of overlap, could it be politics????

You are correct in your reading.

Get a Utah license. They don't care if youve never been there. Its good in Colorado.

Wrong!

Not if one is not a Utah resident. Colorado does not recognize any permit held by anyone not a resident of the issuing State.

Look things up and check before giving lousy advice on a legal issue. You could get someone into a lot of trouble.

While you may not be able to carry on your person, CO does allow you to conceal within your car. CO considers the car an extension of the home so you can conceal a firearm in the car. Also, open carry is generally ok outside of the Denver Metro area.
