I am looking for a Springfield XD Sub Compact in 9mm. Willing to purchase used but price has to be right and in excellent condition.

All my research has led me to believe that a NIB best final "out the door" price is going to be 475 - 500 and even then, that is going to take some effort and patience to find.

So there are 2 used that are are available for a buy now price of $400 with bid starting at $350 and no researve.

Niether have bids with 4 hrs remaining. A new one with 3 days left has 9 bids and is at $405 currently.

Is there something wrong these (odd model or something else) or is that that people just don't want to buy these guns used. Or is it something else.

I know I am taking a risk advertising these in case someone else wants them but I am new to buying guns and would rather be informed and lose one and fight another day than make a mistake.

I don't see anything wrong with either gun. The second one has been shot more than the first one, since there is more wear on the barrel/chamber area.

If it were me, I would buy that first one. It comes with 3 magazines, two of which are full capacity, either 15 or 16 round, depending on when they were made.

Between my wife and I, we have three of the 9x19 Sub Compact XD's, and love them. Jump on that first one you have listed.

Hope this helps.

Dont worry,i used "BUY IT NOW" and bought them both.
:p J/K thats mean.Anyhow since both are used, and i looked everywhere and couldnt see that stated tho.But $350 as a minamum isnt a bad price to get as if they were taking in trades id say they got $275 max from them.

if 450 is new price, 400 is high for used.....some folks think guns depreciate 20 or 30 bucks when used, but in real life it is usually 10 to 20 PERCENT, not bucks....

"if 450 is new price"

I have only seen $450 at BudsGunShop plus FFL & background of $30 so that puts it at $480 although they are out of them now.

I don't think I would bid up beyond $365. That would make the final price be about $420.

So that would be $55 better than the best I have found assuming availability of new. Our local shop had them on sale for $489 a week ago but they are out now. Plus tax that would make it about $530.

There's nothing wrong with either of them. Those guys are aggresively pricing theirs for sale though. Those guns are so common that in order to get attention, you HAVE to price it that low just to raise an eyebrow. Like Fred said, the first one is obviously used less than the second one. Good luck.
