Is this a good bullet for both 45 ACP and 45 Colt?

I'm still confused how people think pc will be stripped off if properly bonded. I can mutilate a bullet with a hammer and it doesn't come off. It's the reason coating is vastly superior to plated...
I can't speak to other dies, but I use the Deluxe 4-die sets from Lee for my revolver cartridges. In the literature that comes with them, I recall reading in in Lee's instructions that you don't need a crimping cannelure; the die will put one in if it's not there. That sounds like it would be aggressive enough to break through a thin coating/plating.

Rimmed cartridges in the fcd use a roll crimp. It definitely cuts the powder coat but I don't care at all because it reacts nothing like cut plating. Why they are different is because the PC acts more like a bonding in a premium bullet than a jacket.
