Is this a legal "No Guns" sign in Kentucky?

Yeah, set your own bit up...

If you have a basement rec room, you're there... You can get a GOOD projector and a name-brand pull-down screen for under $1,500. Mine's an InFocus 4805 and the screen is a 16x9 92" DaLite. This is tech from a coupla years ago, so think even cheaper.

You probably already have a DVD player that will work. If the computer-out stuff is present on the DVD player, use that. If it has component video or S-Video, use them in that preference. If all it has is composite video, buy a new one.

An AV Receiver can cost under $200, up to whatever you have in your bank account, retirement plan, etc., etc... Basically you just need some decent power, solidity, and dolby digital and DTS support. Denon, Pioneer, etc., are good names. I'd avoid Sony...

For speakers, buy three sets of the Insignia curved-back speakers from Best Buy. It's their house brand, but these things are WAY better than the $25/each price tag. The internet buzz is that a European company contracted a Chinese manufacturer to make a run of mid-high-end speakers (try $200 each...), and when the run was over, the Chinese guys kept filling up shipping containers with a different logo...

DO NOT BUY BOSE. They're basically the "Raven" of the audio world. They spend $100 on parts and design, and $500 on advertising, and charge $3,500...

You're gonna want a subwoofer. There is one from an outfit called Parts Express that wins the "bang for the buck" award hands down. It's on sale right now, and has been reviewed against subs that cost 3-4x as much, and kicked their butts...

So, okay...

Projector/Screen: $1,500 (or less, but don't buy one of those "all in one box" thingies)
AVR: $200
Speakers: $150
Subwoofer: $100

You _will_ end up hosting a super bowl party. No screaming kids. You can fondle your Garand while watching Saving Private Ryan.

I've got a bit more in Bogie's Bunker (Shiner Bock in the fridge, lamps made from artillery shells and hand grenades, vintage gun advertising on the walls, etc., etc., but this'll do you.

Why are you bragging about your AV equipment? That is so off topic.
I have a nice HD set and sound system, and I'm in front of it too much.
That's why i want to go out and be with friends and family in the first place.

Since this got bumped anyway, here's the response I got from Jame Hall of KC3.

It would seem that simply posting the premises is enough to keep you out while carrying concealed BUT it is NOT a criminal offense, all they can do is refuse to admit you or ask you to leave. However, since the sign is "Posted Pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code", I am not sure that it carries any weight since the ORC obviously does not pretend to authorize ANY restrictions or privileges outside the borders of Ohio. As Kentuckians within the borders of KY, we simply do not recognize the force of OH law (in this respect).

That being said, these people are idiots and, personally, I would go to another theater. They would NEVER have the benefit of my business even if it meant I had to wait till the movie came out on DVD.

Concealed means "concealed".
The sign has no weight as far as Ohio statutes as you are not in Ohio.
And the worst they can do is ask you to leave. But if you're concealed, they shouldn't be aware of a problem to start with. If I wanted to carry, and I wanted to see the movie, I'd haul my butt and my CCW right on in there and keep my mouth shut.
