I've found plenty of talk of satisfied customers of the other FN Autoloaders, but there is another one on their US website that I haven't heard mentioned, seen in stores, or even available online. Apparently it is called the "SLP Tacticals"? Seems like a weird name.

That is the page with the US models. The one I'm trying to find info on is the second one down.

I'm looking for a 22" higher capacity 12 ga. with Ghost Rings/LPAs, and aesthetically, I really like this FN, although I have a feeling it would go for a grand or a little more.

I was looking to buy the shorter scale Mossberg 930 SPX for a while too, but they've been impossible to track down too it seems.

The MK I has the longer barrl and a geater mag capacity. The one you want is simply the SLP with a pistol grip stock added along with the rail around the end of the magazine. You could buy an SLP and just make the changes, they take the same stocks and accessories as the Winchester X2.

I was under the assumption that there wasn't much in the way of aftermarket SX2 stuff, which there probably isn't, but if there is at least an aftermarket pistol grip stock, that would be nice. I'm also thinking there isn't much in the way of SX2s themselves.

I'll go research!

To be honest, I'd buy the Mossy 930 SPX on the spot if I came across one again. I saw one at (of all places) Dick's Sporting Goods, and went home, researched a bit, went back the next day with cash in hand, and it was gone.

:(

The guy at the counter (who I got along with quite well, we talked for a good while) said some "weird guy came in and got it... I remember him because he said the word 'tactical' at least 30 times in the 20 minutes he was here."

I'm sort of wanting a 22" auto due to capacity, because I know a potential AWB will likely have something to say about capacity in semi-auto shotguns as well as pistol grips. So basically, I want to (hopefully) grandfather the most illegal shotgun I can currently buy. :)

With a 22" barrel you are only adding one more round. Unless you are shooting in competition matches you don't need the one extra round.

I don't think any possible AWB will effect on these shotguns because of their round count.
