Is this normal wear?

Hey guys,

Attached is a pic of my Glock 19 gen4 showing the breech face and part of the slide. I'm very new to Glocks and wondering if the wear I'm seeing here is typical or potentially problematic. I've been shooting only WWB 9mm through it. It may be fine, but since I'm not sure I thought I'd ask.

The finish at those points will eventually be a "white" polish. Don't worry about it.

I'm with you, beag_nut, I do not see the wear that is the subject of this Thread.

I even popped on a 2nd pair of cheaters for a really close look at that tiny pic ... nothing.

Fatman, I figure that if I cannot even see the "wear", it is probably nothing about which to concern yourself.

I even pulled my G19 out of the south gunsafe to compare (carrying the 30s today). I can only guess that you are referring to the marks where the top-rear of the barrel rests against the slide when in battery. If so, Normal.

Normal wear. My Walther has a bit more polishing now that it is above 15K rounds.
