Been looking for one and got one today. Made by FNH and the barrel is perfect. It will do great in vintage military rifle matches. Put 20 rounds through her today.
Congratulations! For the last 5 years I have been on the prowl for a Swedish Mauser M38 in great shape and an Israeli Mauser in great shape. Found the Swede by word of mouth and bought it from a guy selling his Grandfather's gun collection (at least those he didn't want to keep). It was worth the wait, now I continue to prowl around looking for my Israeli Mauser. Congratulations again and shoot the heck out of it!
