My first C&R purchase and my first K-31 arrived this afternoon. I ordered the matching numbers birch wood variety from Classic Arms last thur. I was very pleased to find that the stock wasnt all beaver chewed and found the metal to be round 90%. Overall id say 80-85%. And i also removed the butt plate and found the cool owners tag. Where can i get that interpreted, anybody know where or how? I found it interesting that the importer was Samco though. Anyhow, after i inspected the chamber and bore i loaded it up with 6 round of surplus that i bought with the gun and headed outside. I set up a mixed nuts can at 70' and put all 6 rounds in it standing free handed. I am seriously hooked on this rifle! The trigger pull is awesome, the kick isnt bad, and its fun to operate. heres is some pics i took for you fellas also.
