Yesterday, I dropped by my local shop/range with my fiancee to pick up a Hi-Point 995 carbine. (save the lolz, pls) and after I finished the paperwork, my fiancee turned to me with a big smile and says "So does this mean you're officially a member of the Black Rifle Club now?"
Now, let me explain something - this girl had NEVER shot a gun before meeting me. She had never even SEEN a real gun up close and in person before meeting me. She now owns her own S&W 642, and easily out-shoots me with my MK III. I know it might be cheesy, but every time she says or does something like that, I feel this ridiculous surge of pride.
She's definitely not as much of an enthusiast as I am when it comes to guns, but like I said, it's the little things she says or does sometimes that really remind me why she's so awesome.
I dunno - guess you had to be there, but it made me happy.
