Now you will want a Government model with the 5 inch barrel, and then a defender or officers model for CCW, and then repeat all three sizes in Stainless!

I have the same model. It has been a fine shooter. The only modification I have made is the installation of one of Wilson's drop-in beavertail safeties. The Commander size is my favorite of the 1911 pattern guns. I have 3 in this size (a 1991A1, Para P-13, and Para Tac-Four). Enjoy.

The Commander has always struck me as an ideal size for the 1911 pattern. It just seems to handle a little better than the Government model.
