Bought a new (to me of course) Model 19-3 P&R yesterday as a birthday present to myself. The gun was tucked in the corner of the last case UNDER a Super Blackhawk. I pawed at it for an hour nagging one of the clerks to get the price down and to include taxes and shipping from Jax, FL to Kings Bay, GA. His boss finally agreed on it and I should be receiving it Wed.

I just sold off my pair of Witness Carry-Comps and have a few spare bills and empty slots in the safe. Looks like some roundhouses are in order.

I'll have a range report ASAP

Regards

well how much? ;) my last cost me 120.00 back in may of this year :neener: I like them 2.5 model 19's and 66's Enjoy

120?!? Where did you find that and what was wrong with it? :p I love the snubby K-Frame. It looks so "natural" and points and totes so easily.

The gun was an easy 98% and I paid 375 before taxes and shipping. (question: Why does a 45 minute drive cost $40? Damn the postal system and greedy dealers! lol)

well it helps to be hooked up in a good church! I am serious too have ya heard of sowing and reaping? Anyhow one of the ladies in my chior was moving and did not need them anymore and I passed last fall on 4 inch 66 for 180.00 - a pastor friend was looking for a good centerfire and after I said I wanted it I remembered he was needin it more than me so I cancelled my deal and connected them. This spring she wanted rid "two revolvers" and I had no Idea what they were- ended up they were the 2.5 mod 19 and a model 4 in mod 10. Funny thing is I told her she could get more but I'd give her 250.00 for em both and she said no- the 19 only cost her 120 and she would not take more than 220.00 from me...They were here duty guns and the 10 was holster worn- the 19 was just about pristine. Not as nice as the 19 6 inch I got from another guy for 150.00 that had maybe a box through it. I have gotten more deals and free guns since I started to give some away as I am led too... I had sold my first 19 snubby and regretted it years back and replaced it with a 66 snub but a cheap and clean 19 does not get past my paws anymore- even if I give it away- they are just too nice to let a deal go by.
