Looking for any information on an Iver Johnson 20 ga, s/n 38054E. When and where it was made and any other IJ information?
I believe it was brought by a family member from Indian Territory (Oklahoma) to Texas between 1904 and 1906. Thank you.
I had two of these back in the late 50s...one in 16 ga. and the other in .410. They were made in Fitchburg, MA. They were known as a cheap entry level gun. I did a stint as a TT driver for an outfit out of Fitchburg and Iver Johnson was one of the places I used to pick up freight. As I recall, the shipper there was a crabby old bastard!
