Indeed !
My mother carried one in her purse! Circa 1970-1976.
I remember buying a box of ammo at a flea market and my younger brother and I sneaking the gun out of her bedroom and shooting it in an unfinished basement room. It is a little more powerful than a .22 revolver with .22 Shorts.
Not a man stopper, but you don’t want to get shot with it!
The first fatal gunshot wound call I ever responded to as a police officer was an attempted armed robbery. The perp was shot in the groin area. Bullet entered the vein and lodged in the heart, causing cardiac arrest... pronounced dead at the ER. 1979...
I’ve loaded.32S&W with the Lyman 78gr RN over 1.3gr of Bullseye. Shot them through a couple of S&W .32S&WL HandEjectors to verify function. Gave balance of batch to my younger brother as he still has my mothers pistol.
It looks identical to OP’s
J2G,
They never had ejector rods. They have an ejector that raises when the action opens just like the S&W #3 Scofield.
Caution! DO NOT USE .32acp! Much too high pressure and will cause ejection problems you mentioned. I see that your ejector is working properly.
