Inerested in any info on this pistol. I received it from my great grandfather. Was told it was rare as it has a "sub-trigger" and is hammerless.

If it was in the box and in as-new condition, it may sell for as much as $250 on a very good day. The nickel plated ones get the higher prices, usually. In this condition, it's worth $75-$100, and I'm being generous. I have a few of them (Ivers, H&Rs, Hopkins & Allen, etc,) and they're all worth about the same. They aren't worth much because they made so many of them. They're good, reliable little shooters, btw.

For an idea, the H&R below is my ex-girlfriend's "get off me!" It was about $120 a couple of years back on Gunbroker.
Note: She got her permit and is never without it.

My grandfather carried an Iver Johnson 38 S&W hammerless in the Alaskan Gold rush.

We still have it.

10 years ago it was worth $50.

Now I estimate the worth at $110.

It is not for sale.

Well, my first answer was wrong. So I deleted it.

It is a Second Model Safety Hammerless model built from 1897 to 1908.
