i have a ruger police service six 4 inch barrel, and was wondering has anyone carried a similar gun iwb? i have a chance to get a choice of two holsters, one is thin leather and the other is thicker leather both iwb holsters. the thin leather isn't but the thicker leather is molded to my gun. i have a pancake holster coming in but thought in summer a iwb might be better if it can be done. i'm 5`6" and 160lbs, has anyone carried a gun like this iwb and it go ok? just want several carry options in case different situations arise. thanks

I carry a 4" S&W 66-3 iwb all the time with no problem. I'm using a kydex/leather holster made by a company called KyHide. Works like a champ.

I carried a Colt Diamondback 4" several years. I made my holster but it is very much like a Milt Sparks "summer special". Just another brand to look at.

I carry a 4" GP 100 in a horsehide/kydex at 4:00 all year long. Loose shirts are the only requirement.

In my experience you will need a rather small grip, a large loose fitting cover garment, a tolerance for printing, or some combination of those three.

I have a Milt Sparks Versa Max II for a 4" Ruger GP100
