Ok, so i'm looking for a way to carry my 92FS when i get my CCW permit. Yeah its huge but all i have is it and a kel-tec P32 (with a pocket holster already). I'd like to carry something bigger if possible sometimes. So far i'm looking at the Orca Bodyguard, mainly because of price. Anyone use one? Only problem i can see is i think a forward cant would work better but the bodyguard is straight up and down.

Next is the Desantis Stealth. Same problem as the first one, but the extra mag pouch is cool.

Last option i'm looking at is biting the bullet and dropping some cash on a better holster. If i do this i'm looking at the Milt Sparks Watch Six. From what i gather after some searching it takes 8-10 weeks, unless i get it from lightning arms, but then its about $20 more.

Decisions decisions. Any thoughts?

I've grown really tired of messing with inexpensive nylon, kydex, and [cheap] leather holsters. So, I've started investing in top quality leather gear, such as the Milt Spark rig I ordered last night (55BN holster, belt, and mag carrier). Although your other choices will probably work o.k., if you can find the cash, I'd recommend you go for the Milt Sparks holster. I think you'd be happier in the long run.

Lightning Arms does charge more, but if they have what you want in stock, then you'll have the holster in a couple days instead of a couple months. It's a trade off...

Good Luck!

they suck...an extra mouch pounch attached to a holster is fine for military or police apps on leg holser, but not for IWB...they add a lot of bulk....

Listen to our friend above and go with a quality leathersmith....the 92 is a big gun and you need a quality rig to tote it all day...

I have a Milt Sparks Heritage for a 92fs (not my usual carry piece, but I can't stand to have a handgun without a holster to put it in!). Works great, hides great. Yeah it is a largish weapon but with good holster and belt you can do it.

I too gave up on cheap holsters a long time ago -- buy quality, it is cheaper in the long run.

Yeah i guess it would be worse than having one seperate on the other side, since its all grouped in one spot.

I actually just bought a fobus paddle holster and some kind of don hume IWB holster from the classifieds. For 25 bucks i'll give em a shot. I'll probably end up getting the watch six. Looks like a great holster.

You Get What You Pay For!:D

Pay a little and you get just that - a little. You want something better, you'll spend a bit more. Besides you really want to put a $$$ gun in a $ holster?

I just bought a DeSantis "Cozy Partner" IWB for my G-22 and couldn't be happier. I was going to get one for my BHP at the same time, but they didn't have any in LH in stock.
The "Cozy Partner" is comfortable and secure and does a wonderful job of comfortably and descretely concealing the blocky profile of a full-sized Glock. After wearing it a few minutes you stop noticing it's even there. It has a tension adjustment screw and two snaps for securing to your belt. Plus its cut so no part of the gun touches your body except for the butt. The design also allows for one handed reholstering. My only complaint is that it dosen't snap easily over the 2 1/4" Wilderness Instructor belt when you run the retention straps on either side of a belt loop on a pair of jeans. No problem with the 1 3/4 belt, dress belts, one of softer material or narrower belt loops on dress slacks and Dockers. They should stretch a little with continued use and then it won't be a problem.
For concealed carry I definitely like it much better than the Galco Combat Master I've been using for several years.
The best part is that it's only about $20.00 more than what you wanted to spend.
If price is still a consideration, the DeSantis "Inner Piece" is a little less.
