After doing a fair amount of research, I finally took the plunge and bought two IWB holsters (Milt sparks VMII and a Fist Kydex) and a Bianchi 1.5" gun belt. The problem I'm having is with the snaps. They are a total PITA to snap and unsnap. Do the loops require a little break-in stretching or what? Somtimes I struggle for 2-3 minutes to get them snapped and when I put the gun in the holster, or reposition the holster, they pop open. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Put a small drop of oil in the female portion of the snap. This should ease the operation thereof considerably.

Also, be aware that most quality holstermakers use "lift-the-dot" snaps. With these, one must snap and unsnap with a sort of rocking motion.

Yep, they have pull-the-dot snaps and will only snap and unsnap from one position. Also, they are tight at first and take a while to break in. Look closely at the snaps and you'll see a hook on the inside of the female piece. This hooks over the male piece first, then you can snap them together.
