Just bought a Masada this week. I'd read tons of reviews and watched lots of videos, but the gun really caught me by surprise. It's a really nice looking pistol and seems to be made very well. I field stripped it, cleaned and lubed it (I like the Sig style takedown lever), put a Holosun 507C X2 on it and took it the range and put 100 rounds through it. It took about 10 rounds to get the red dot zeroed and then proceeded to blast a ragged hole through the center at 15 yds with ease. The pistol has surprisingly low recoil and settles back on target very quickly. I really like the narrow grip - reminds me a bit of my 1911s - very easy to get a high hold on the gun. No problems with the mag release. It only comes with 2 mags, which is kind if a pain because no one has them in stock at the moment. This pistol felt like an old friend and if I wasn't being conservative with my 9MM ammo I could easily have fedd several hundred more rounds with it. I can't wait to get back to the range with it. It shoots very similarly to my Archon Type B - which cost twice what I paid for the Masada. if you're on the fence about an IWI Masada, get one. It'll be the best $400 you've spent in a while.
