This goes back to a thread that was originally posted by THR Member Bigjake on 12/17/05. The title was "J.C. Higgins Model 20 Choke???" There were several replys.
THR Member Hawk replied and attached a photo of a choke he had on his Model 20, which is not the choke my Model 20 has.
When I obtained my 20 it came with 3 choke tubes which thread into the end of the barrel. They were for tight pattern, medium pattern, and large pattern. In one of my many relocation moves with my empolyer two of these tubes came up missing. I am trying to replace them and not having much luck. By the way my 20 is in prime condition and shots like silk. The only problem, it is a little on the heavy side.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I might look for replacement chokes. These chokes are not variable. They are a one piece tube with a gap between the end of the barrel and the tube. That gap is greater or lesser depending on which tube you are using. Any ideas will be appreciated.
