The SC has done us a huge favor in this respect recently. The ATF and all other agencies are on notice they cannot make up powers and authority Congress did not legislate.
This is a much bigger deal than people give it credit for and it is going to spill over into a lot of areas completely unrelated to firearms.
If the federal court decision striking down the dubious appointment of Jack smith as a special prosecutor is upheld, that is another huge deal to limit government.
We cannot eliminate government but we can do our best to hobble it at all levels. I think we got lazy and allowed government to grow out of control. The inevitable end result is our own fault. Now we have to go back and fix that mistake.
