I have a Springfield J Stevens single barrel 12 ga. that belonged to my grandfather. It's been in the cabinet for years. I need to know how to remove the barrel.
I have two doubles that I take apart regularly, and you just remove forearm, open action and the barrels come right off. This thing when you remove forearm, the gun works just as if it were on there. What's the next step?
Silly question, but I have never had this gun apart, and i need to oil the works inside. Gun is in near perfect condition, but getting dry.
