Greetings,
recently I acquired a 1911 pistol made by Bul of Israel. its a sub compact pistol with polymer frame.
it had very light trigger pull and hitting slide stop (without depression of grip safety) always caused hammer to drop in half cock position.
I fully dissembled pistol checked the internals and reassembled pistol but manual safety (not ambidextrous) when put in place required moderate force. after that the hammer moves freely obviously without any contact with sear and now it is impossible to remove safety. i tried to keep hammer manually in full cock position to remove safety but safety simply is stuck in frame.
first of all i need to disassemble pistol ... but it is impossible if I can not remove safety.
I have to find solution to this problem for myself since we don't have here a professional gunsmith. will appreciate any help or advice.
ps
Buls are known for very average fit. is it possible for badly fit safety to contact with sear and prevent a contact with hammer?
