this place sucks....they cant answer their phone due to high sales volume, ***!! Been trying all day. Like everyone is ordering AKs and mags today?

anyone else have this problem?

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention, but most gun vendors have been overwhelmed by orders.

But here's the funny part, you're complaining that you can't get through when you've been trying all day, but you find it hard to believe that other people are doing the same thing...

If they are that bad, just spend your money elsewhere. If they are the best place to spend your money, maybe that's why everyone else is calling.

Gee you mean there was a election?
Gee you mean a anti-gun guy won?
Gee you mean those with NO preperation are now in the panic mode?
Gee you mean EVERYTHING associated with firearms are HOT items now?
Gee Mr Obvious would have thought?:neener::neener::neener:

Yes!!! Everyone is having the same problem. Every gun dealer in the U.S. is backed up and it may be frustrating but you can't expect dealers to higher more staff and put in new phone lines because everyone in waiting till the last minute. I bought my AK's months ago and got a good run of them. I am only posting this to make the point that if we wait too long then it just may be too late period. Our rights as gun owners are soon to be in jeopardy. Get onboard everyone. Support the NRA, and help them lobby against the gun hating congress and the future Supreme Court justices. Your governors, congressmen (woman) and state representative are in office because you put them there. Call, write show up on there door step. (I have actually done that). This country is ours. Let keep it. Sorry for the rant.

Yeah, everywhere is like that right now, this is the first bad thing I've ever heard about JG, so I'm sure it has more to do with overwhelming demand than their normal customer service. Even my local shops are in "I can ring you out, but not much time for advice, mode."

that's a crock....so from the time they open to the very second they close, they are on the phone every breathing minute? eff that, I just went to my local shop now and was surprised to find they had the Sig 556 two-clip sets for $40 and the Bulgarian waffle mags for $26 so I got several of each.

J & G

I had a friend make the trip up to prescott today to J & G, he said it was an 2 hour deal just to get waited on, outta almost everything,
oh well, next time, wanted a galil, and a draganov knockoff.

I'd bet that they just took the phone off the hook to free up staff to deal with customers in-store.

More likely than not.
I was in a little Mom and Pop place this weekend to pick up a pound of powder and the place (always dead) had at least a dozen folks in there checking the stock and asking about ordering. A lot of people have been waiting and now the rush is on. They should have practiced the Boy Scout motto...

JG Sales is easily the best online dealer with which I've ever dealt. I've dealt with over 10 different dealers. I ordered a used gun in the Summer of 2007. One sales guy physically got the specific used gun in front of him as he answered the 21 questions I had. He also gave me his direct line in case I had issues when I got the gun. I'm sure any service problems they currently have are due to the sudden boost in sales.

Actually JG is one of the better national dealers. If you didn't want to buy when everyone else went crazy buying they would be very helpful.

I just got my CZ Kadet kit from them last week - good thing I ordered it a few weeks ago. Good price, everything ran smoothly, my only complaint is that you can't track shipping and you need to be home for some things.

no, they were ordering them yesterday too, and will be ordering them tomorrow...and the next day...

J&G sales has been smoking everytime I have dealt with them over the years. After the last election it is suprise they are getting bum rushed.

When I was living in Prescott last year I used to go to J&G all the time. I knw how busy they could get. Sometimes you would go in and it would take an hour or more just to check out because there were so many people in the store and only so many clerks.

It doesn't surprise me a bit that they are overwhelmed right now and if I still lived in Prescott I would be avoiding that place at peak hours or all together until things die down. Besides J&G isn't the best gun store in that area, however if you are dealing with them only online then they are pretty good.
