FIREARMS AND TACTICS INSTRUCTOR
Wackenhut Services, Inc. - Oak Ridge Team is seeking a Firearms and Tactics Instructor for the Central Training Facility. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma. A bachelor’s degree in an educational related field is preferred. A minimum of two years experience as an instructor in a Department of Energy (DOE), Police, or Military-related discipline is required.
The successful candidate for this position must possess the following minimum skills and abilities: knowledge of assigned weapons and equipment; skill and ability to maintain proficiency in all assigned weapons; ability to obtain and maintain DOE Basic Instructor Certification, DOE Firearms Instructor Certification; DOE SPOII & SPOIII Basic Certifications, DOE Live Fire House Instructor Certification; ability to meet medical, physical fitness, and firearms standards contained in 10 CFR 1046; ability to meet the training requirements as defined in DOE Policy 473.2-2; ability to lift 100 lbs.; ability to successfully complete drug screening requirements; possess a valid TN drivers license; able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-clearance.
