OK I have wanted to have a 5 shot .454 Linibaugh Ruger .454 conversion for years. I know he builds them on your gun,but I heard he only takes new/unfired. Is that true? Also realistically how much $ am I looking at here?[hunter grades only please!]

Base price for a 5 shot .45 Colt conversion is $2000. I understand he will chamber and mark them for .454 because there are some hunting regs that require "magnum" revolvers.

Yeah looked at website. Have been for years. Actually it lists a model "starting" at $1300. I just wondered if anyone had any experience dealing with them, and what I could expect for that kind of money Thanks tho.
