Can anyone tell me about a J.P. Sauer model 1913?
I have two of them. One was brought back from WWII by an uncle who served with the infantry in Italy.. It has a very nice brown leather holster with a compartment for a spare clip on the front and a braided leather hangy down thing at the bottom.
He would never talk about his experiences and gave the gun to my Dad to get it out of his house and he didn't want it back.
The other one I found under the back seat of a patrol car 40 years ago, at the beginning of my shift. It had a mag in it but the mag had no spring and the gun had one round in the chamber.. I had a serious discussion with the guy that drove the car on the last shift.. He hadn't had anybody in the car and we never did figure out how long it had been there.
I have found pictures of the gun on the net, but no other information. Any help would be appreciated..
