I recently picked up a JP Sauer LA Western in .44 Mag at a good price. Just wondering what everyone's take is on these. It has a fair amount of wear on it for its age, but it locks up tight on all cylinders.

I have one in .357 Mag and love it. Tight lockup, nice balance and a good trigger.
I needed to add a touch of metal putty to the foresight and file it accordingly to bring it to point of aim (it was shooting high and to the left).
The one area to be careful of is the threaded, two piece firing pin bushing. If this loosens up, the recoil can cause a breakage. I've already gone through one myself!
