Guy really knew what he was doing as far as restoration. He does however need to use the proper lubes. That is not he way you lube a pellet rifle I would have just ordered the correct seal as well. That said, he lookes like he has a lot of skill at restorations. Thanks for postings. I am doing a research now trying to find out what gun it is. Must be old with the leather seal.

Yes I agree. I would have replaced spring seals etc... but he made it work. Looks like old Diana maybe.

Not taking anything away from his skills, but the gun was not getting any compression. I am sure he figured this out later.

Weren't leather seals still uses into the 90s? I remember taking apart s friend's gun that had a leather piston seal.

I'm sure he just wanted to make it functional. Probably don't know the first thing about airguns. I follow him on YouTube. He's pretty amazing at taking junk and making it new again.
