Took the SIG P-6 out yesterday for a test run. Being a bit older I have had the pleasure to own and/or experience many pistols. Brand names include; Beretta (9mm), Springfield (.45), Smith and Wesson (9mm), Tauras (9mm), Ruger (9mm), Bersa Thunder (.380), Makerov's etc. (9mm) as well as revolvers in .45LC, .44 mag, .41 mag, .357 mag, .38 special, and of course .22.
Point is, shooting this SIG was about the most accurate and fun gun of the group. It felt good in the hand, recoil was light, and accuracy was VERY Good (comparing it to the aother autos) I must add that the field stripping was so simple that I thought I must have skipped a step. So, I wonder why it took me so long to find this pistol?
I really needto try a SIG in .45 and then a Glock, just to see what all the fuss is about.
(*sigh*) So many guns, so little time (and money)!
