Just an aside.... but it does have to do with BP!

I need to check my emails more often! Was talking to my brother Monday morning; and he mentioned that he had a vid up on YouTube of my sister-in-law kicking some serious butt and 'moving up' in rankings at a SASS match.

If nobody minds too much; Imagonna just copy/paste Don's email so I don't goof up all the intricacies:

"Hi, y’all,

"Like to brag a little about Jamie’s outcome at the SASS National Championships last week. She’s now the ranked 3rd in the nation in Ladies Frontier Cartridge, behind the 2012 National Champ (#2) and the 2012 World Champ (#1). Attached is a video of her shooting Stage 2 on Sat., during which she had the fastest time of the top 3. J Jamie moved up 1 rank in the match over last year and shaved over 100 seconds off her total time over 12 stages from 2012. Purty good, huh? I’m sure that some of the success comes from her excellent support staff and bullet loader, me. J J ( I finished 17th in Frontier Cartridge Duelist.) The weather was mostly cold & windy and we got snowed on (freaking crazy) on Wed."

EDIT: Probably wouldn't hurt to mention their SASS monikers:
Donny is "Don Coyote"
Jamie is "Squeaky Hare"

Well, she's just a smidgen behind Honey B. Quick.
I shoot with Honey every summer.
That there is good company.
Only 30 seconds behind Honey & 283 seconds ahead of finisher #4.
Congratulations to her!

I'll pass the congrats along, Dawg!
(It's weird to see those words typing out on my screen - I'm "DesertDawg" on several other {non-gun} Forums)

I'm not terribly surprised, though. Squeaky has always been the Master Shot in that couple, now she's just wicked QUICK. Don's in the same boat as me in being the second-best shot in the family; my having married a 'Li'l Miss Annie Oakley, who's also from Ohio. Sue and I don't shoot in competition, we just make sure we keep current on our gear. I've been to a couple of the shoots that take place down here in Yuma, and it's fun to watch; but now I like the watch the stuff, and do my shooting slooooooow. Keeps the blood pressure down.
