This would be the Premire-promoted "Original FW Gun Show." Parking at two in the afternoon was not too insane--a pleasant change from previous shows).
Crowded, if not to the insanity of the last couple of months.

It seemed more crowded, too, as the tables were back to six-foot aisle spacing. There were a ton of vendors there, too, no salt lamps nor much in the way of costume jewelry (and those folks were limited to only the one table per each).

There was no shortage of either ammo nor firearms--although present-day prices seemed to be the rule of it. But, right about LGS prices, too.

For FMJ, 9x19 was $35-50 per box; 45acp was in the $40-50 per box range, 5.56x45 was all over the place, in every random quantity of rounds per box (saw boxes of eight (8) for $15 "show price" alleged to be 68gr SP).

Glock 19 were stuck about $800. SIG 365 were all withing about $20 of each other; $600-625; XL right about $675; with Romeo sights $750-775. Pretty much all the ARs were $1100-1200.

Saw more M-1 Garands & M-1 Carbines (easily a dozen of each)--no discounts there, they were at market price.

Lots of wood & steel firearms, too. If really lean on lever actions, especially new ones.

It was a good day, even if I did not leave with anything.

Spoke to a dealer (real dealer, not a basement wanna be) that had several tables next door in Idaho. This guy usually cleans up. He said attendance was really down and sales were few and far between. It was strange to hear that as he's usually busier than a one armed paper hanger.

Hi...
Visited the Lebanon County, Pa gun show today.

Busy, quite crowded.
Very little in the way of reloading supplies and what they had was way over priced.
Lots of firearms...big improvement over the Allentown, Pa gun show last weekend.

Did manage to find a New Model BlackHawk in .30 Carbine at one table.
Put it on layaway until the show in Philadelphia on June 12...would have bought it outright but just spent $750 on a Dan Wesson .357Magnum yesterday.
Here's the best part...$450. Haven't seen any BlackHawk at that low a price in well over a year.

$800 for a G19. The Cabelas and some LGS around here have various Glocks for much more normal prices.

That's how most gun shows have always been for me in the past. Kinda like "window shopping" without the windows. Nice to see things are getting somewhat closer to normal.

I’m thinking the “stimmilas” money has left everyone’s back account so people are being a bit more judicious with their spending. $1 a round for 9mm fmj isn't too painful with found money... but it hurts when it’s your money being spent.

Nothing scientific about my guess, it’s just that... a guess.

Stay safe.

Not the case here in DFW, sad to say.

Need to add, that there were several dealers getting attention for having signs "We Have Primers."

Also, there was a Colt .32 Positive for $500, but it had been nickeled or chromed, which llkely explains the price.

New LGS tan 19's are over 1K including tax and BGC. No way will I pay more for a glock over an FN 509 or Sig 320 full size.

If you look at https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cen...ageView:grid&minPrice:&maxPrice:&pageSize:36&

You can see a G17 (don't know what gen) for $579. I've seen them in the case. Now a G17 of any model will more than handle a SD situation. So it depends on the purpose of the gun, the MOS guns are more.

That price is higher than the good ol' days when I got my 4th Gen G17 but if I had to tell someone to get a SD gun (and train up), that would work. If you think about it, another $100 over the lifetime of the gun isn't that much.

Not at my Fort Worth Store. $579.95 ($20 off) for a G17; the FDE G19X (only model available) is $649.99 before ttl.
Or, right at $700 out the door, if they actually have one. LGS pricing is stuck in around the $750 range, so, the "show premium" was in being able to walk out with one (and there was plenty of haggling afoot).

They've had a Ruger 327 Mag LCR snubby sitting in the case for about three months at $609 (cheaper than MSRP). Tempting but I have other expenses. It would be a fine gun for some who need an SD revolver. Getting ammo would be pricey nowadays and hard to find but some is out there is you want to pay $2.00 / round.

I imagine each store is spotty. The other day they had lots of WWB 223 55 gr and green tip. Also some 50 BMB. Guess which I bought. The LGS had a G42 and some Shields at decent prices - ammo - only some shotgun 20 gauge and a lot of WWB 7.62 x 51. Had a Hi-point 45 ACP. What a brick! $169.

Cabelas was usually overpriced as compared to the TX gun shows when things were normal. Also, the staff at the Buda one had folks who didn't know the end of a barrel from another orifice. Academy down the street was signficantly lower in price but the gun shows for new standard common guns were better at some tables. GT Distributors also had much better prices.

Hopefully, things will settle, albeit at a higher level.
