I have been keeping my eye out for a new or used USPc .45 or HK45c for a couple of months now. I have been getting pretty close to ordering a new USPc .45 from CDNN for $699.99 (comes with two mags and the regular fixed sites). Yesterday, I went down to one of the local gun shops to see what they had and low and behold there was a used but LNIB condition USPc .45 (2007 "AH" V1 model) with three mags and with Meprolight nightsights there. They were asking $775 for it. They told me a guy traded it in about four days ago. I handled it for about five minutes (felt good in my hand and really liked the trigger pull (both DA and SA pulls) and decided to get it. I asked them if they would take my G21 (2003 made, very good condition, with 5 year old Meps and two mags) in for trade on it and at first they were only going to give me $350 for it, after a little haggling back and forth I got them up to giving me $400 in on my G21.

Since I have a G30, and shoot and carry that a lot more than I did my G21, I don't feel so bad on parting with my G21. I did the same thing with my G20 late last year and since I have my G29, I don't really miss the G20 all that much, well maybe a little from time to time.

I'll try and post some pics here today or tomorrow. Hopefully, next weekend I will be able to go out and shoot it (try some WWB FMJs and some Golddot JHPs). If it shoots the Golddots real well and is dead reliable with them, I might just have another conceal carry gun in my arsenal to use.

The USP .45c is a great gun. It should shoot Gold Dots just fine. Mine has been 100% with any ammo, and I carry it in cool weather months. Enjoy it.

mine has fired over 60k rounds without a failure..

i had 1 piece break at around 56k rounds (it was the spring that holds the hammer back for single action, and double action still fired... hk fixed it i had the gun back in less than a week... which is rare for hk btw)

ps i carry mine every single day

my groups depend on what type of shooting im doing...

for pure defensive shooting i can engage multiple targets and hit every single round within 2 inches of where im actually aiming from ranges of 3-60 feet without a problem at all...

on taking my time and actually target shooting i would say less than a 1" group at 7yards and approx 2-3" group at about 20 yards..

but i own my own indoor shooting range and its only 20yards long so i practice what i can...

we have had competitions within my employees where we shoot things like business cards "on their edge" golf balls suspended from rubber bands (moving) and all sorts of other fun stuff!

however after the "fun stuff" it took 8 hours to clean up and my range smelled like a pina colada for a week
