Not to be rude or anything your choice is your choice on a gun but. $1100+ on a shotgun??????? Wouldnt you rather have had a saiga 12g ? last like forever AK built. Or 3-4 shotguns at $200-$300 Each?

Imo

I would rather spend $2 or $3,000 on a shotgun, (and have), than buy cheap POS like you're mentioning. Some folks can appreciate a quality gun and some cannot....

The more money you invest into a shotgun is directly proportional to how crummy all other less expensive shotguns become.

Everybody knows that.

I was leaning heavy towards a Benelli SBE2, but that SX3 is a fine looking shotgun. I might have to rethink.....hmmmmmm

I would.. I did actually. Saved alot of money going with the SX3. Might want to take a look at the Browning Maxus whenever it becomes available if your liking the SX3.

Just picked me up a SX3 with 300 rounds down the tube for $600. Arrived at my FFL today and she doesnt even look like she has been shot yet. Dang 10 day wait.

I would never buy a Saiga instead of the SX3 I did buy. I don't care about the price difference, the SX3 is worth it.

My SX3 has worked perfectly since I have owned it, which is a bit over a year. The first box or two of shells that I used through it were 3" #2 shot Winchester stuff in the gray boxes at a mess of ducks in the freeze of winter. The gun functioned perfectly and is the perfect duck gun for me. I love it.

Concerning the original question... If you are shooting the red Win promo shells, I have had trouble with consistent ejection in an 1100, Franchi Raptor and Beretta 391. As a result, I don't buy them anymore and burned what I had in break open guns.

winchester problem

Had same problem with my new SX3. all it needed was some oil on the piston as it was very stiff, works wonders now, and use 28gram gun does not seem to like the lighter loads.
Good luck
