For those of you thinking about a P95, below is a copy of my text from an older post of mine.
"I recently shot a Ruger P95DC belonging to a friend. It was a fine shooter, nice and smooth with not much recoil. I was getting 4-5" groups from 15 or 20 yards (in the woods) with my first 10 shots, first time I'd shot a handgun in years. I really want a manual safety on a pistol though. His didn't have one, just the decocker that I have a hard time trusting. I don't think his had a rail either."
I need to add the following to that statement though. It's a little embarassing though. .... After about 100 rounds, the gun would jam on me, on the 3rd round, every magazine. My buddy said, "maybe it's the magazine." So, we swapped magazines. The gun never jammed on him with either magazine. The other magazine jammed on me too! So, basically, I was limp-wristing it.
I know the problem was my arm getting tired. So, I didn't let that keep me from buying this gun. I also shot a .38 special revolver that day too. I didn't care for the double action pull on every shot, but it sure was easy to reload.
