Just Bought New XD9 Sub-compact

I just brought my new CCW home. I got a SA XD9 sub-compact. I wanted an XD40 SC but the dealer didn't have any left in stock. I got it at Vances in Columbus for $399+tax. I will get the holster and hicap mag when they come in. In case anyone in the Columbus Ohio are is looking, I got the impression they had several XD9 SC's on hand but at this price I wouldn't expect them to last long.

Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but it points well and seems very ergonomic other than very short grip and I have average size hands. I will definitely be getting more hicaps and the spacer/sleeve.

Sounds good. I have the 4" and 5" models in .40 and really like both of them. I keep looking at the sub compact too.

hope you like yours as much as I like mine. I bought the 3" for a carry gun, and liked it so much I bought the 4" for the bedroom drawer and the range.
never fails, easy to clean, as accurate as me
I also have not had the finish problems others have complained about.

I spent my tax refund today on my own XD-9 SC Bi-tone. $430 + tax. Gonna be my first carry gun- now I gotta get the course and paperwork done...

Hope we both enjoy our new boomsticks!

I have an XD9 and they are a great gun for the price. I still like my G27 better.

Seems to be a trend in XD-9 SC's here on THR!!

I just bought mine on Thirsday and have thus far put over 500 rounds thru it at the range.

308win, Pearce makes a grip extender to go on the normal factory mags that come with it. I got a couple so I could use the little 10 rounders as easy as my "hi caps"

Accurate. Reliable (not one malf in the 500). Lightweight. Durable.

I love it!

P.S. I have been told twice now that I "should have got a glock, man!" from 2 different Glock users. I let them shoot my XD and they were asking where I got it and if I thought they had anymore
