It's tool chatter in the rifling of one of my .45's, which I found after one of my marathon cleaning sessions. (I clean the holy daylights out of my guns every 5,000 rounds or so)

I posted it up a few years back, seeking clarification from some of the boards gunsmiths as to what it was.
