An ol bud of mine GAVE me a Markesbery 50 cal, ss barrel, laminated stock. I'm noty famiiar with the brand but did learn they are no longer in business. They were in Florence , Kentucky. Anyone aware of these guns. I'm "told" they were well made excellent shooters. Pretty anxious to get started learning a whole new world of shooting.
