Just got a Mossberg 500 syn

18 1/2 incher with the spare 28 inch barrel. Synthetic stock and all . For 239 dollars at the local big 5. Good deal. Social work and Rabbits all in one package. And at a great price, well it should be, the wife bought it for me.

Congrats! I have a couple of them, one has over 15,000 rds through it, from when I shot skeet and trap alot. It still works like new. You will enjoy, I'm sure, it will do anything and everything you could ask a shotgun to do. You can spend more but you can't get better, IMHO.

Yeah it is replacing my older 870. I am partial to mossbergs due to the fact my first gun, which i got christmas 1991, al of 8 years old ( I grew up on a farm in KY) was a mossy 500 .410. Ive still got that gun.That sucker sure kiled a lot of rabbits. Among other furry woodland creatures.
