I got an FNP 45 over the weekend. Found someone on Armslist that was selling one and I offered him my unfired Gen 3 G21 and a Taurus PT111 G2 with about 75 rounds through it.

The FNP 45 is a two tone with the shooters pack. He said that he bought it with night sights but whoever put them on didn't do the best job. I had to slide the rear sight out, degrease the area, and use some red loctite without dripping any into the firing pin block hole.

Took the FNP 45 to the range yesterday and it shoots great. The gun is very accurate even in my hands.

I just bought an FNS-40 and put 100 rounds through it on Saturday. Absolutely phenomenal pistol.....love it!
I saw PSA was selling the FNS 40 in two tone for like $370 with night sights and 3 mags. That is an incredible price on a gun that loaded. I don't want a 40S&W gun, but for that price I may reconsider.

Really like mine, my son-in-law loves shooting it! Only thing I'm not thrilled about is the length of trigger pull, but that's easily remedied from what I've heard.

Accurate and fun to shoot! Mags are a bit pricey, though.

Congrats, enjoy!

I bought mine from PSA for $376 shipped, $400 out the door with night sights and 3 mag's.

Absolutely awesome deal on a really nice gun.

I've got the FNX-45 (two-tone), wish it had night sights. Great SA trigger pull, but the DA is a bit much. I was amazed at the accuracy, shoots as well as my Gold Cup NM and almost as good as the Les Baer. 14+1 rounds of .45 ACP, what more can you ask for (and the pistol in made in the USA). FN is putting out some great pistols these days, who knew its polymer-framed pistols would be so good.

I have an FNP and love it. no CC'ing that thing!
Shoots great, but I had to up the dose of Unique in my handloads for it to be reliable.

I had an FNP 45. I loved shooting it, but I had magazine spring failures, and reliability issues, so I ditched it as it was my bedside gun.

When it was working properly though, I really liked that gun, and I miss owning one. I can't justify the cost of another though. Congrats!

You should have called FN. How is their customer service?

I have yet to shoot an FN handgun I didn't like. They aren't often talked about, but they have made great guns for more than a couple years.

Yeah, I probably should have, but I had another issue.

I replaced all the magazine springs once. That fixed the issue for a bit. Then FTF's continued. I realized I had lost confidence in the gun. Even if FN had fixed it, I knew I never would've trusted it with my life again. It was a psychological thing.

The other issue was the large magazine release. It consistently hit the tip of my trigger finger under recoil. That hurt. I know that's an issue with keeping my trigger finger where it should be. But I have thin fingers and squeezing the trigger, and keeping the pad of my finger on the trigger was difficult.

I took the plunge on an HK45 and the euro magazine release works well for me because there's no button in the way. So I'm happy.
