Traded it for my HK USC.
2003 manufacture, hard-chromes, NS.
It was an off-duty carry for its former owner.
I LOVE this handgun!
So easy to shoot, and I think it's going to make a great concealed carry choice.

On to the pictures!

Congrats! Tried any holsters yet?

Not yet.
Del Fatti holsters seem to be a popular choice for P7s, although the wait on those he's around a year out right now. I'm not even sure if I want IWB on OWB carry for it. Input, suggestions or advice are all welcome and appreciated. While I've wanted a P7 for about 20 years, this is my first. I'm a lefty so even the bigger retailers (eg: Lightning Arms) is unlikely to have something I can use at hand.

Are you sure the finish is hard chrome? The look of the barrel, along with the black color of the grip screws, takedown button, and slide lock thingie suggest that its finish is factory nickel.

Ken,

The original owner had a bunch of the small parts duracoated black.

I also suspect that he had the slide warning label buffed out a bit prior to refinishing due to the shallow/faint appearance.

P.S. Let me see if I can find the picture he sent from the original auction

Ken, speaking of slidestops...that's the most vestigial handgun control I've ever seen.

It takes me a second to find it even though I know it's there.

I would say congratulations, but I'm too envious at the moment. (Pause)...Okay...

Wow! Dang! That is really nice!

But, I'm still envious. :(

Nice guns they are...

The hard chromed one is an II date code Chantilly...

Need to getcha some nills... ;)

Great gun, just as mine would have looked had I kept it.

I actually owned two of these at the same time and had 8 total magazines, and a Del Fatti OWB holster.

But talk about a money pit, first mags are $60ish a piece, then you can't put such a nice gun in a $50 polymer holster so you've got to spend at least $125 for the holster. Then it shoot so nice, ammo starts adding up.

In the end I worried about scratching them and they sat in the safe. So they got sold and I bought guns that I will use.

But great gun, I'm sure I'll buy another one day.

BrennanKG,
Congrats on a great find. P7s are truely unique guns to shoot.

This guy http://kdholsters.com/ makes fine holsters and only a 10 week wait or so.

If the fellow you bought from doesn't need his old holster, why not buy it?

YIKES! I had to check on mine! I bought it new in 'II' and she's been mine since! :neener: Congrats for your new acquisition! :D

Great pistols. I have a P7M8 and a P7PSP GSG-9 turn-in. I think I'm going to get the PSP hardchromed. That's beautiful.

Congrats on your purchase

+1 on your new weapon. I am on my third P7 and love them. Mine is with me where ever I go.
