Gave to my usual 4 again. Have been for the last 6 years.

I give $60 each per year to the following 4;
NRA civil defense fund
NRA
National Wild Turkey Foundation
Rocky Mountain Elk foundation

Of the 4, I always get stuff from NWTF and RMEF which is not asked for but a nice gift from them.

The NRA gives me about 40 phone calls a year asking for more money. Even have to pay the additional $$ to be a member. Am I bitching, nah, just stating the facts.

No biggy, just thought I'd pass on what I donate to the cause. Not a whole lot but still, a little helps.

Anyone else doing the same?

That's funny. I hear people say that all the time. I've been a member for going on 30 years and not one phone call. Letters now and then but not once have they called and asked me for money. I send extra now and then, to NRA and ILA both.

Weird......

My CFC $$ goes to:

Fisher House (place to stay for family members of wounded soldiers)
USO

Neither gun related, but still worthy causes.

Hey I have a question.
Are you talking about Combined Federal Campaign, and are you active duty? I thought CFC wasn't available to everybody so please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

CFC is also available to non-military .fedgov employees.

For those of you who are productive citizens, you can just give to your favored charity directly, although it requires a little more effort on your part.

+1 on that (well, not the 30 year member part) but I have been a member a long time.
