I have an Erma SR100, with all three barrels, I also have a couple Bravo 51's, sooo I know what a quality rifle is and costs. BTW my handle isn't just a handle. I spent 10 years as a 18B in the Army and was a qualified sniper for five years. I got this because it sounded like a great deal since I don't want to take a $4000.00 sniper weapon system in to the woods to hunt elk or feral pigs. I can tell by the construction and design is it a lightweight inexpensive hunting rifle not meant to be a SWS or even a competitive rifle. It does have a great trigger for a entry level rifle, and it has an acceptable action.
I have at least ten quality scopes I could put on it if I was so inclined, but won't if this cheap Bushnell that came with it gets me anywhere in the moa area. I will also say that I hunt feral pigs with a .357mag 4in so if I can hit them with that, a rifle is going to make it so I can take shots out to 100m if there are any since they are in thick brush which this rifle seems to be perfectly designed for. As well, on the Elk hunts in the areas I go to here the longest shot will be 2~300M and i could hit a housecat from that range with even my Nagant easily so I can say this rifle will be fine for what I am going to use it for. As well I'll lend this one out and leave the 700ADL and BDL I also have in the safe.
