And it looks GREAT! I purchased this revolver NIB. It STILL has no end shake, locks up better, has a perfect gap, and just plain *feels better than a new model. A few scratches and holster wear is all that's wrong. The bluing is as good as my new Marlin! (This is one of the ol' Fellas I'm emotionally attached to.) I wonder if, in my lifetime, S&W will be making them like this again? (I know the answer.)

Ruger...

Maybe I'm being a little silly, but when I purchased this revolver, I didn't have to fill out "papers". I'm *paranoid enough to want to keep the model number a secret. Probably doesn't mean a thing though. I could even feel my face getting red as I was typing this post.
I just hate giving any free information to the anti's.
