Just got back from the range. Shot my Kimber a lot, my friends Glock and had a great time. Shot my first rifle too. A guy there was testing out some handloads with his Remington 300 Win mag. He competes in long range shooting and let me "have a go" with his rifle at 100 yards. The trigger had no creep and after my shot ( which was more of a flyer) he told me he set the trigger at 2 lbs. Geez, all I did was rest my finger on it and off she went! I was still only two inches off center.
My friend let me shoot her new Rock River Arms AR 14. Incredible. She has a mil dot sight on it and I have to say I'm hooked.
Except for one thing. I'm left handed and that gun, at least with my first experience is totally set up for a right hander. I found it very awkward.
Any AR 14-15 types that are more left hand friendly?
Thanks in advance,
