For bar none the BEST powder scale you can get....

http://eastidaho.craigslist.org/spo/1625829935.html

It's an RCBS Dial-a-grain 304 for actually a screamin' price at just $150.00 (unless it's already gone, it's a 3 week old listing)
There's one in Pitts, PA but it's $299.00 which shows you just what these things are worth.

I have one and it is absolutely the cat's MEOW...

The only reason I posted it is because of the other thread asking the difference with a 502 & 505...

A word of caution from a retired chemist, these balances were very common in laboratories to weigh bulk chemicals and weighed in grams only. Ohaus(the actual mfgr.) also made them for our hobby and did set them up to weigh in grains. Make sure what the unit of weight this balance is before purchasing. Either way the are great balances.

Good tip Loadedround....
I may be wrong but I believe the scales stamped with RCBS all weigh in grains. As i said, I may be wrong. I was thinking for the short time there, RCBS contracted Ohaus to make scales. Problem and question I have is, why don't they continue it. Hopefully they'll bring it back one day, but with expense, I doubt it.

AzBuckfever: You are absolutely correct. RCBS would not be selling a balance calibrated in grams to the reloading trade. I was thinking more of the balances being sold on Ebay weighing in grams and probably lifted from a lab somewhere.
