Just thought I'd share this moronic point of view

This thread has far too much information to lose. We as firearm owners encounter the subject of just what 2A means often. Above is far more information, or may I say "ammunition", than I could have possibly put together myself. I think that if there was ever a thread that deserved a "sticky" this is one!

So say opinions of most of those courts which have stated a firm position on the issue.
Did you all miss that final sentence in the original thread. No court has overturned the Second amendment.Any lower court decision has been overturned by the SCOTUS[ Supreme Court of the United States] The writer ended his moronic babble with an out and out lie, you should have called him on it!

I get so frustrated by the entire arguement over the "true intent" of the 2nd Ammendment! As has been pointed out, over and over and over and over again, if you have any questions about the Framer's "Intent" then just go read what they wrote about it. Those who argue against the individual right are either completely ignorant, or they are liars. (MSM is most likely a combination of the two!)

All the technical language-wrangling aside, our RTKBA, by simple virtue of present common ownership, is de facto law. Had there been any serious doubts otherwise early on, something would have been done about it then.

Quote:There are three commas used in this sentence. A comma is used to separate elements in a series, connect two or more independent clauses, and as a conjunction in place of and, but, for, nor, yet, or, so.

Not according to the Harbrace Handbook. If separating independent clauses a semicolon is used. Most of the time a comma is used with a conjunction such as and, but, for , nor, or and so. Commas are also used to separate nonrestrictive clauses. The gun, being black, shot very well. Being black is not essential to the meaning of the sentence.
