Im not planning on going there anytime soon, but is a garand california legal? Its been making me wonder, because of the non removeable magazine it should be.

Also, about maryland law, Are paratrooper M1 carbines considered resricted? OR are they excluded because of being C&R?

With regards to Garands, they are most definitely CA legal. No "evil" AW features like pistol grip or detachable magazine make your thinking correct.

There are quite a few Garand enthusiasts down here in So Cal along with matches to boot.
