This was on 9 & 10 News tonight. The sheriff and prosecutor both said that no charges would be filed against the homeowner, that he was doubly justified in shooting the burglar (both in defending his home from an intruder, and in shooting a fleeing felon while making a "citizen's arrest"), that the intruder already had a lengthy criminal record, and the same home had been broken into a month ago.
