Hello all, i have a S&W 48-4 IN 22MAG and am trying to zero in on its market value. Here are a few pic's its in really good condition.

Maybe $600 - $700 if you can find the right guy wanting one.

There aren't that many of them around.

About 5 years ago I sold one just like this except it came with an extra cylinder in 22 LR. Had trouble moving it at $350. Long barrel is least popular and 22 mag is a niche market.

bought mine, a 6", for ~$400 plus shipping/transfer about 3(?) years ago, call it $450
no box, papers, crappy grips (which mattered not to me), but otherwise "LNIB" condition
I think SaxonP is probably right, not everyone is fond of the longer barrels

Prices have obviously not been on the drop since, but I think you might do $550-$650 on it, like rc said, if patient
